TRAUMA

This video was shot mid January. Just after I shot the video in the doctor's office, both ladies received 4 shots (2 in each leg) for vaccinations. This was necessary to get them up to date so that they could attend day care. Being younger, Sophia relaxed during the injections and only cried afterword. This proved a much better approach. Conversely, Isabella, foreseeing the shots, froze up and flexed all her muscles vigorously. This resulted in major leg trauma and pain for the next two days rendering her unable to walk. Meanwhile, mommy was out of town.

WALKING

Here, after a full day and night of Isabella refusing to walk, she walks again. I wasn't able to video the trauma because it was too traumatic for me. When I was in pre-kindergarten I had to get a tetanus shot. I remember thinking that if I flexed my arm muscle really hard when they gave me the shot, it wouldn't hurt. The nurse told me otherwise, but I didn't believe her, so I went ahead and flexed. Subsequently, I could not move my arm for the next two days. As a result I couldn't take off the shirt I was wearing during the shot and had to wear the shirt to school two days in a row. Therefore, I could commiserate with Isabella.
